At his Keynote at the Transmediale 2010 in Berlin, Zielinski gives explores what he calls the holy trinity of time past present and future, starting from the Michael Theunisien's dualistic model of the pathology of time perception. The lecture was given during the "Atemporality - A Cultural Speed Control?" session.
Zielinski begins this interview with an an-archaeology of how he came to use the term an-archaeology to describe an alternative to linear genealogies to describe the evolution of electrical media throughout history. Zielinski starts from Foucault's "Archaeology of Knowledge" plunges deeper into philosophy, ontology as he explores the art and science of hearing and seeing by electronic means.
